À propos de sa pratique

Zoé is a young abstract painter working with acrylics on canvas or found wooden panels. She is experimenting with bright colours and expressive brushstrokes. Her work calls to the playful nature and curiosity of the  inner child within all of us. She finds most of her inspiration in nature and the magic of the mundane. Her artistic practice is embedded in looseness and hopes to inspire people to create and express themselves freely. In her latest abstract series « fleurettes » Zoé worked intuitively, allowing the physicality of the paint to guide the image. Rather than being depicted accurately, flowers and vegetation are represented ambiguously with great movement to create an immersive and emotionally charged piece.
