No previous experience of writing or movement is necessary, as this workshop is open to everyone, whatever your background.
Ce workshop se déroule dans le cadre de la création restes
For mothers and sons, daughters and grandmothers, and all migrant families, racialized or marked by heavy and often invisible histories.
Alphonse invites you to share and create around the silences that run through our families. This workshop is for anyone who wants to explore the silences passed down from generation to generation, understand what they hide and give them a place in our stories.
Together, we'll explore how these silences, often linked to painful histories or invisible struggles, can become forces, living memories and inspirations for creation.
Why take part ?
In many families, there are things we don't say, memories we no longer share. These silences can be heavy, but they're not empty: they hold traces of stories, wounds, and sometimes even forgotten dreams. This workshop explores what these silences can reveal, and how, through writing, movement and words, we can bring them to life in new ways.
What you'll do together :
Understanding silences What memories or stories lie behind these family silences?
Writing and creating from memory : Using words, the body and the imagination, we'll explore ways of transforming these silences into stories or gestures.
Sharing our stories : We'll take the time to listen and create together, to connect our experiences and our stories.
