JULIANA NEVES / CARVING YOUR OWN BODY SPEECH / Workshop

14 February, 2016 garage29 OFFESTIVAL, WORKSHOP

23-27.05.16 / OFF @ Studio Belgica

Juliana Neves will share her 20 years of artistic experience and propose five intensive afternoons of training, dancing, improvising and creating. Each day starts with a different warm up, including floor work, strengthening and stretch exercises, partnering, some circus/acrobatics and choreographic phrases. The workshop goes on with a creative part, based on free and guided improvisations, and composition exercises, trying to find an emotional state before a physical one, going from physical states to movement. We ask questions and try to answer them physically.

Level: dancers, actors, circus artists, aerial artists, choreographers, performers
