The Gyre, part d’une idée simple : marcher.  Pourtant, très vite, on est transporté dans une partition délicate et extrêmement précise où deux corps se relaient dans un mouvement perpétuel. De tour en tour, la ligne qui permet de les distinguer l’un de l’autre, ondule, s’estompe et finalement, disparaît. The Gyre est un tourbillon de mouvement pur qui se roule et se déroule, et se complexifie sans jamais s’arrêter. Suivie depuis ses prémisses, cette première création de la compagnie Tumbleweed se laissera découvrir en Avant-Première dans le studio du Garage29.

Tumbleweed est une compagnie émergente bruxelloise, fondée par la chorégraphe, danseuse suisse Angela Rabaglio et le chorégraphe, danseur et musicien français Micaël Florentz. Elle est utilisée en tant que plateforme collaborative pour les projets interdisciplinaires de ses deux membres. Angela Rabaglio fait partie de la Pépinière Garage29, initiative destinée à soutenir des projets et artistes émergents.  

The Gyre starts from a simple idea: walking. Very quickly, we are transported to a delicate, extremely precise partition where two bodies relay in a continuous moment. From turn to turn, the line that sets them apart undulates, blurs and eventually disappears. The Gyre is a whirlwind of pure movement that coils and uncoils, becoming increasingly complex without ever stopping.

Tumbleweed is an emerging Brussels dance company founded by Swiss choreographer and dancer Angela Rabaglio and French choreographer, dancer and musician Micaël Florentz. The company serves as a community platform for the multidisciplinary projects of its two members.  Angela Rabaglio is a member of the Pépinière Garage29, an initiative aimed at supporting emerging projects and artists.
