Léa Vinette – GINCUBATOR 2021-2022

FR/EN

After studying contemporary dance at the Conservatoire de Nantes, then in Conservatoire de Lyon, Léa Vinette graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in dance and choreography at the ArtEZ art school in the Netherlands in 2017. She collaborated with choreographers Amos Ben-Tal, Nicole Beutler, Adam Peterson, and danced the piece Interior Drama by Lucinda Childs.

Léa then worked as a performer with the Meyer-Chaffaud company and the choreographers Michèle-Anne de Mey, Fatou Traoré, Ido Batash, Liat Magnezy, Rakesh Sukesh and Elie Tass. She currently works with Louise Vanneste-Rising Horses, Michèle Murray-PLAY and Tabea Martin.

In 2020, Léa also followed the dance and choreographic practices training with Charleroi Danse and met Boris Charmatz, Lia Rodriguez, and Mark Tompkins. Since her meeting with Florence Augendre in 2014, applied fasciapulsology has become a physical and intellectual research and an important tool in her personal creative work. Her choreographic research explores a field of possibilities to consider how to express the multitude of states that constitute us. Her artistic research is based on the idea of contradictions, whether they are physical, emotional, scientific, artistic or intellectual.

As a choreographer, she created Shower in 2018, a duet in collaboration with Daniel Barkan, and then the solo Lost Dance in 2019, a preliminary step to her Planet A project with which she is integrating the G.INCUBATOR 2021 this year.
